Welcome to Fantasy Footy League Ltd. By creating an account and participating in our games, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Terms & Eligibility
Age Requirement: You must be 18 years of age or older to register, deposit funds, and enter the Fantasy Footy League. We conduct strict age verification checks; any account found to belong to an underage user will be immediately closed, entries voided, and all winnings forfeited. Jurisdiction: You must be a resident of the United Kingdom to play. Account Security: You are permitted to hold only one (1) account per person. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Fantasy Footy League Ltd is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from user negligence. Amendments: We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or a mandatory pop-up notification upon your next login.
2. Customer Funds Protection
Fantasy Footy League Ltd operates with "No Protection" for customer funds. If Fantasy Footy League were to become insolvent or go into administration, there is no guarantee that funds can be repaid.
Customer funds are kept in accounts separate from business accounts; This meets the Gambling Commission's requirements for the segregation of customer funds from operational funds. For more information, please visit the Gambling Commission's Guide on Customer Funds.
3. Settlement & Exception Handling
Final Verification: Match data is based on the official match report provided by our primary data provider, Sportradar. Payout Timeline: Prizes are distributed within 24 hours of the final game of that Gameweek. Top prize winners are subject to manual verification by league administrators. Retrospective Changes: Any statistical changes made by official bodies (e.g., a "dubious goals panel") after our settlement window will not result in retrospective changes to any payouts. Abandoned Matches: Please see the specific ruling in the Appendix pertinent to each game. Postponed Matches: Please see the specific ruling in the Appendix pertinent to each game. Data Feed Failure: In the event of an automated feed failure, manual settlement will be conducted using the official Premier League website as the backup source.
4. Competition Deadlines and Technical Limitations
4.1 It is the sole responsibility of the user to ensure their team entry or modification is submitted and confirmed prior to the specified gameweek deadline. 4.2 The Company accepts absolutely no liability, responsibility, or financial obligation for entries that are incomplete, corrupted, delayed, or not received by the deadline, regardless of the cause. 4.3 This exclusion of liability explicitly includes, but is not limited to: network connectivity issues, mobile data failures, server latency, high traffic volume, or any total or partial platform downtime, technical malfunction, or system outage originating from our servers or third-party hosting providers. 4.4 Any entry not successfully recorded in our central database prior to the exact second of the deadline is strictly invalid for that competition window. No retrospective points will be awarded, no manual entries will be accommodated by customer support, and the user completely forfeits any eligibility for that week's Prize Pot Table. 4.5 System Issues: In the event of a total system issue, Fantasy Footy League Ltd reserves the right to void affected games and restore credits to players for any entries to impacted games.
5. Account Balances, Bonuses & Withdrawals
5.1 Buying & Holding Credits
You can easily buy game credits via the FFL app or desktop site using debit cards alongside Apple Pay and Google Pay. Standard credits cost £1.00 each. For example, if you spend £5 to buy 5 credits, these credits will then sit in your wallet ready to use, to then spend on entering games. From time to time, you might receive Promotional Credits (for example, a "Buy 10, Get 1 Free" offer or a Refer-a-Friend reward). Promotional credits have no direct cash value (£0), but they work exactly like standard credits when entering a game. Promotional credits will expire within 180 days. For more detail, please see the Fantasy Footy League Credit and Refund Policy.
5.2 Playing Games & Using Your Credits
When you enter a game, our system will always utilise your real-money deposit credits first. Promotional Credits will only be consumed once your real-money deposit balance reaches zero. Buying additional real-money credits will automatically push any remaining Promotional Credits back to the end of the payment queue. Mixed Wagers: If you enter a game and the entry cost uses a mix of real-money credits and promotional credits, this is called a Mixed Wager. Zero Wagering Requirements: We believe in keeping things fair. Whether you win using real-money credits, promotional credits, or a Mixed Wager, 100% of your winnings are paid in real cash. We never restrict your winnings or force you to play through them again as a "bonus balance."
5.3 Prize Money & Conversions
Once a gameweek finishes and all winners are verified, the total prize pool is transferred securely into our safeguarded bank account. If you win, your prize will be credited directly to your account as real cash. You are entirely in control of your winnings. You can choose to convert your cash balance into new game credits (at £1 per credit) to keep playing, or you can withdraw the cash immediately.
5.4 Withdrawing Your Money
Your money belongs to you. You can withdraw your real-money Deposit Balance at any time using a bank transfer. Note on Active Promotions: If you choose to withdraw your real-money balance before completing the requirements of an active promotion, you will forfeit any remaining Promotional Credits linked to that offer.
5.5 Inactive (Dormant) Accounts
If you haven't logged in or played a game for 12 consecutive months, your account will be considered dormant. Before making any changes, we will contact you asking for bank details to enable refunding any outstanding balance. This will also include a 30 day notice period warning. If we still do not hear from you after those 30 days, we will apply a standard administrative fee of £3.00 per month. This fee will be deducted from your remaining balance until it reaches £0.
6. Responsible Gambling
Fantasy Footy League is a form of paid-entry entertainment. Please only play with money you can afford to lose. Setting Limits: We encourage you to set a weekly budget and use our "Cooling Off" feature if you need to take a break. Avoid chasing losses. Monitoring: We monitor for at-risk behaviour (e.g., high volumes of entries) and reserve the right to temporarily suspend accounts or limit entries to protect our community. Support: If gambling is becoming a problem, please contact BeGambleAware (begambleaware.org), GamCare (gamcare.org.uk), or the National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133).
7. Privacy Policy & Data Usage
Data Collection: We collect personal identifiers (Name, Email, DOB), usage data (IP, selection history), and process payment info via secure third-party gateways (we do not store full card details). Data Usage & Sharing: Data is strictly used for competition management, payouts, compliance, and complaint resolution. We do not sell your data. We share data only with necessary third parties (Sportradar, payment processors, regulatory bodies, and IBAS for dispute resolution). Your Rights: You may request access to your data, account deletion, or opt-out of marketing at any time via your account settings. Cookies: We only use essential cookies for functional, compliance, performance and analytics purposes.
For full details on privacy policy and data protection, see the Fantasy Footy League Privacy and Data Protection Policy and the Fantasy Footy League Cookies Policy.
8. Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
By using this platform, you warrant that all funds used are legally acquired. We reserve the right to request "Source of Wealth" documentation (e.g., bank statements) at any time. We may freeze accounts, withhold prizes, and report suspicious activity to the National Crime Agency without prior notice, in compliance with the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
9. IT Failures & System Errors
Malfunction Voids All Pays and Plays. In the event of a software glitch, pricing error, or systemic failure that erroneously awards credits or cash prizes, Fantasy Footy League Ltd reserves the right to void the affected entries and recover any mistakenly credited funds.
10. Complaints Procedure & Dispute Resolution
10.1 Internal Complaints Procedure. If you have a complaint regarding any aspect of our service, a transaction, or a wagering decision on Fantasy Footy League, please contact us via email (support@fantasyfootyleague.co.uk), our in-app form, or by post: Complaints Dept, Fantasy Footy League Ltd, C/O Accountanova Ltd, Bromley Old Town Hall, 30 Tweedy Road, Bromley, BR1 3FE. 10.2 Investigation Timeline. Our internal team will fully investigate the matter and aim to provide a formal resolution within 10 working days. If a complex investigation is required, we may extend this timeframe, but we will keep you fully informed. In accordance with regulatory requirements, a final operational response will be provided no later than 8 weeks from the date your complaint was first logged.
10.3 Escalation and Deadlock. If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, or if your complaint remains unresolved 8 weeks after it was first logged with us, the dispute reaches a state of "deadlock." In this event, we will issue you a formal Deadlock Notice via email, which represents our final operational decision.
10.4 Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). If you disagree with our final decision contained in the Deadlock Notice, or if 8 weeks have passed without a resolution, you have the right to refer your dispute to our nominated Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity, the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS). Referring a dispute to IBAS is completely free of charge to you. The decision made by IBAS will be binding on Fantasy Footy League Ltd for any dispute up to the value of £10,000. For disputes over this amount, IBAS's decision is non-binding, and either party may seek a remedy through the UK courts. You must approach IBAS within 12 months of receiving our Deadlock Notice.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Contact Us: For general queries, please email support@fantasyfootyleague.co.uk.
Appendix A: Fantasy Footy League
Format: A 5-a-side fantasy football competition based on real-world Premier League weekend fixtures. The competition runs on a "Gameweek" basis. Entry Fees: Each team entry costs 2 credits. Credits are purchased at £1 each. Users may enter multiple teams per Gameweek, provided the entry fee is paid for each. Guaranteed Prizes: The Prize Pot Table is guaranteed and published prior to the start of the Gameweek. Prizes are fixed and are not affected by the total number of entries. Deadline: All teams must be submitted and locked 90 minutes before the kick-off of the first match of the Gameweek. No changes are permitted after this time.
A1. Settlement & Official Data Feed
Primary Data Provider: Match data is sourced from our lead partner, Sportradar. Update Frequency: Live statistics are refreshed every 60 seconds throughout the fixture. Verification Process: Game results are settled using the official match report provided by Sportradar following the conclusion of the Gameweek. Payouts are typically processed within 24 hours of final game week fixture, with top-tier winners subject to additional manual verification by league administrators. Retrospective Changes: Any statistical amendments or corrections made by official bodies after our settlement window (such as those by a dubious goals panel) will not result in retrospective changes to fantasy payouts.
A2. The Squad & Formations
You must select a squad of five players using one of the following three formations:
- Defensive: 1 Goalkeeper (GK), 2 Defenders (DEF), 1 Midfielder (MID), 1 Forward (FWD)
- Balanced: 1 GK, 1 DEF, 2 MIDs, 1 FWD
- Attacking: 1 GK, 1 DEF, 1 MID, 2 FWDs
A2.1 Selection Restrictions
Unique Teams: All 5 players must be selected from 5 different real-world Premier League clubs. Tiered Selection: Players must be chosen based on the actual Premier League table positions at the start of the Gameweek:
- Player 1: From a club ranked 1st–4th.
- Player 2: From a club ranked 5th–8th.
- Player 3: From a club ranked 9th–12th.
- Player 4: From a club ranked 13th–16th.
- Player 5: From a club ranked 17th–20th.
A2.2 Captaincy & Deadlines
Multipliers: You must select a Captain (earns 3x total points) and a Vice-Captain (earns 2x total points). Deadline: All teams must be submitted and locked 90 minutes before the kick-off of the first match of the Gameweek. No changes are permitted after this time.
A3. Scoring, Tie-Breakers & Payouts
A3.1 The Scoring Matrix
Your primary goal is to accumulate the highest cumulative fantasy points based on real-world performances. For the full scoring criteria, please see the latest scoring matrix displayed under Rules and Scoring on the website and app.
A3.2 Secondary Scoring (Tie-Breakers)
Predict the match minute of the first goal scored across all of this gameweek's fixtures (e.g., a goal in the 2nd minute beats a goal in the 12th minute). The goal is to get as close to the actual times as possible. The lowest score wins. The player whose first goal prediction gets closest to the actual first goal of that gameweek wins the tie-breaker. Your tie-breaker score is the total number of minutes your prediction missed by. Example: You predicted 9 mins. Actual was 13 mins. Your score is the variance of 4. Ties: If players have the exact same number of points and the same time of the first goal, then those players draw and move to the Last Goal Time Prediction as the secondary tie-breaker.
A3.3 Secondary Scoring: Last Goal Time Predictions
Predict the match minute of the final goal scored across all of this gameweek's fixtures. The goal is to get as close to the actual times as possible. The lowest score wins. Note on Added Time: If a goal is scored in second-half added time, add the injury minutes to 90 (e.g., for 90+3, enter 93). Any goal in first-half added time will count strictly as minute 45. Example: You predicted 90 mins. Actual was 87 mins. Your score is the variance of 3. Ties: If players have the exact same number of points, the same time for the first goal and the same time for the last goal, then those players draw.
A3.4 Determining Leaderboard Positions
Primary Ranking: Positions on the Prize Pot Table are determined by total Fantasy Footy League points. The player with the highest points takes the top spot. Tie-Breaker 1 (First Goal): If players have the exact same fantasy points, the player whose First Goal Time Prediction was closest to the actual match time finishes higher. Tie-Breaker 2 (Last Goal): If players are still tied after the first goal check, the player whose Last Goal Time Prediction was closest to the actual match time finishes higher.
A3.5 Splitting Prizes (The Dead-Heat Rule)
If two or more players remain completely tied after checking fantasy points, First Goal predictions, and Last Goal predictions, they will equally split the combined prizes for those tied positions. Example: If two players are completely tied for the top spot, they occupy the 1st and 2nd positions on the leaderboard. If the 1st prize is £1,000 and the 2nd prize is £100, those prizes are combined (£1,100) and split equally. Each player wins £550.
A3.6 Leaderboard Shifting
When multiple players share the same number of fantasy points, they undergo the tie-breaker process to determine their exact order. They will occupy consecutive positions on the Prize Pot Table, and all trailing players will move down the leaderboard accordingly (for example, if two players claim 1st and 2nd place via tie-breakers, the next closest player on the leaderboard finishes 3rd).
A4. Settlement & Exception Handling
Final Verification: Match settlement is based on the official match report provided by our primary data provider, Sportradar (updated every 60 seconds). Payout Timeline: Prizes are distributed within 24 hours of the final game of that Gameweek. Top prize winners are subject to manual verification by league administrators. Retrospective Changes: Any statistical changes made by official bodies (e.g., a "dubious goals panel") after our settlement window will not result in retrospective changes to fantasy payouts. Abandoned Matches: If a match is abandoned after kick-off, points accumulated up to the minute of abandonment will stand. Postponed Matches: If a match is postponed and not played within the same Gameweek window, all players involved in that match score 0 points. Data Feed Failure: In the event of an automated feed failure, manual settlement will be conducted using the official Premier League website as the backup source.
