Credit & Refund Policy
Fantasy Footy League Ltd
1. Overview & Balance Segregation
- Scope: This policy governs how purchasing, wallet balances, promotional credits, contest entries, refunds, and account closures operate across the Fantasy Footy League platform.
- Balance Segregation: User accounts maintain a clear separation between real Cash Balances (deposited/purchased funds) and Promotional Credit Balances.
- Fund Protection: All customer cash and credit balances are held under "Medium Protection" in segregated accounts separate from corporate funds, in compliance with UK Gambling Commission standards.
2. Purchasing, Withdrawals & Winnings
- Purchasing Credits: Users can purchase standard game credits via the app or desktop platform at a rate of £1.00 per credit, which immediately populate in the in-app wallet balance.
- Credit Withdrawals: Unused real-money credit balances (£1 per credit value) can be withdrawn at any time via bank transfer.
- Cash Winnings: All competition cash prizes are paid back into your wallet where you can either convert to credits or withdraw via bank transfer.
- Credit Winnings: All competition credit prizes are promotional credits and paid back into your wallet to be used to enter future games.
3. Promotional Credits Terms & Allocation
- Nature & Value: Promotional Credits are non-cashable digital tokens issued to enable players to use them to enter future games. They carry a cash value of £0, cannot be withdrawn as cash, transferred to other player accounts, or exchanged outside designated gameplay.
- Earning Methods: Fantasy Footy League may award Promotional Credits at its discretion through bulk credit package purchases, Refer-a-Friend programme milestones, or qualifying leaderboard ranks in Weekly Competitions.
- Order of Consumption: Real cash/purchased credit balances are automatically consumed prior to Promotional Credits during gameplay, unless a specific game mechanic dictates otherwise. Promotional credits are used only after the real-money credit balance reaches zero.
- Expiration: Promotional Credits expire exactly 180 days (approximately 6 months) from the date and time they are credited, at which point unused promotional credits are automatically removed.
- Forfeiture on Early Withdrawal: Withdrawing a real-money balance while participating in an active promotional offer results in the forfeiture of any remaining promotional credits associated with that offer.
4. Contest Entries & Refund Rules
- Non-Refundable Rule: Once an entry is submitted and credits are used to enter a game, those credits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Submission Deadlines: Entries must be submitted at least 90 minutes prior to the first fixture of the Gameweek; ensuring timely submission is the sole responsibility of the user.
- Technical & Network Issues: Refunds are not issued for missed or incomplete entries caused by local connectivity issues, device failures, network lag, or user error.
5. Match Exceptions & System Failures
- Abandoned Matches: If a match is abandoned after kick-off, points accumulated up to the minute of abandonment stand, contest entries remain valid, and no credit refunds are issued.
- Postponed Matches: If a match is postponed outside the Gameweek window, affected players score 0 points, the contest proceeds using standard scoring, and entry credits are not refunded.
- System Failures: In the event of a total system issue, Fantasy Footy League Ltd reserves the right to void affected games and restore credits to players for entries to impacted games.
6. Account Closure, Dormancy & Fair Usage
- Self-Exclusion & Closure: Closing an account or self-excluding for responsible gambling reasons results in remaining purchased real-money balances being refunded to the user via bank transfer.
- Dormant Accounts: If an account remains inactive for 12 consecutive months, Fantasy Footy League will attempt to contact the user for payment details to return any outstanding balance before administrative dormancy fees apply.
- Account Integrity & Abuse: Fantasy Footy League reserves the right to withhold, void, or revoke Promotional Credit balances if collusion, creation of multiple accounts by a single user, automated bonus exploitation, or breaches of the general Terms of Service are detected.
